Fine Older Polychrome Acoma Pueblo Pottery BowlI'm a huge fan of Acoma pueblo pottery, the painted decoration on which I find so striking, and was thrilled to find this bowl yesterday in Vermont a lovely example, and an older one, earlyish 20th c. I believe. The dark brown, orange and white hand painted design is repeated three times around, with graceful swooping brown lines outlining orange triangles against white in between. Wonderful patina, terrific presence, more beautiful in person. 4 1 8"
